A very Morrie year...

Well hello there my brilliant Blogville buddies!

Well, with less than twenty-four hours until the new year it's time to...

Hee hee, yes, that's right!

It's almost the New Year!!

There is nothing happy about this stupid headband. GET. IT. OFF.
So before I barrel into 2018 -

I do like barreling into things...

I thought it was only appropriate that I look back at what has been a very Morrie year.

The year that was:


  • I learnt to fetch! (Well that's what mum and dad think. In reality I just taught them to give me lots of treats while I play with one of my favourite toys... )
My training started indoors - 



Before we ventured outside!


  • I made lots of new friends!

My park group grew....
Oh you... 
 And grew....

Oh good, more fur-friends!
And GREW!

You're all here for me?! Excellent...
And of course - I joined Blogville and made even more buddies!!!!

I love my Blogville friends!!
  • I discovered LOTS of new human foods!
Mmmm...Weetbix looks pretty good!

But not as good as the ice cream tub!!


Oh look - I can get my whole head in here!!
Oops.. I may have been a little vigorous in my licking...


Okay well the ice cream may have mysteriously run out, so maybe just give me a whole plate of potato gems...

Yes that should do me...
  • And I also discovered that while tennis balls may seem tasty, you shouldn't eat them :(
Apparently this might be hard to digest...
And if you do eat them - 

You can expect to have your tummy shaved and end up stuck in the dreaded Cone of Shame:

Thank goodness my hair has grown back now!

I wasn't the happiest guy with my Cone of Shame...

  • But despite my near-death experience, I somehow made it to my second birthday!
Woohoo! Birthday boy!!

And I cannot wait to see what 2018 will bring!!!

It's party time!!

    You had SUCH a grand year. Mom had a good one because Dad went to Australia on business and bought back Tim Tam's, Golden Syrup AND Australian Cadbury! Her godparents were from Australia and she misses those treats now that they joined their pups at the Bridge. Have a wonderful New Year my friend, and we're SO happy you joined us in Blogville.       Yes my tennis ball eating adventure happened very early on in my Blogville journey, and it caused my Pawents a fair amount of stress...
      So anyway no tennis balls for me anymore, but I can still play with balls if they are those special non-destructible ones!

    Looks like you had a very good year, despite that little tennis ball incident. (I sometimes swallow my squeaky toys, but usually only little, tiny bits that I might gnaw off. But never a whole tennis ball!!! You win the prize on that.) We hope you and your family have a Happy New Year!

      I do still enjoy a chew on a variety of objects... but I'm tying to reign that urge in a little bit ;)

      Yep I find fetch the best way to get mum and dad to hand over the treats.. But sometimes just banging my head against the food tin does the trick as well ;)

      Good on you for eating questionable things!! Mum always tells me off for doing that but often you discover the pawents are just trying to keep you away from their tasty treats!! Although the walnut oil doesn't sound that delicious...

    WOW Morrie - what a year you had....glad you were OK after having that tennis ball snack - I say stick with potato gems and ice cream!     Wow, that was quite a year you had! I'm glad you taught your pawrents to fetch but you don't want to eat the Wilsons. Maybe you should tell your parents to buy you more antlers to keep you from eating Wilsons!
